Customer onboarding

Onboard new customers without the back-and-forth.

Invite new customers to kick-off calls and group onboarding sessions with invitations that feel like they come straight from your team.

The problem

What onboarding lose.

  • Scheduling eats the first week

The kick-off slips while emails go back and forth about a time, and the onboarding clock is already running.

  • The invitation does not look like you

A new customer has just paid you. An invitation from an unfamiliar sender is a poor first impression.

  • Sessions are tracked in someone's head

Across kick-offs, check-ins and office hours, nobody has one view of which customers have attended what.

The attendee flow

How Bloomod runs it.

Onboarding is judged in the first fortnight, and most of that judgment is formed before any product value is delivered. A kick-off that takes four emails to schedule and arrives from a sender the customer does not recognize sets the tone for everything after it.

Bloomod adds new customers after each sale, by hand or by CSV, confirms the address and sends the kick-off as a calendar invitation from your own sender on Stem, with Bloomod branding removed from the email. Reminders keep the schedule honest, and because every customer stays in Contacts across sessions, the group onboarding, the office hours and the check-in three months later all draw on one list.

  1. Verify

Add new customers manually or by CSV after each sale, with addresses confirmed before sending.

  2. Invite

Kick-off sessions arrive as calendar invitations from your own sender address.

  3. Remind

A reminder the day before keeps onboarding on schedule.

  4. Connect

See who accepted, and keep every customer in Contacts across sessions.

Customer onboarding, answered.

Can onboarding emails come from our own address?

Yes. Bloomod SMTP sends verification, invitation, reminder and follow-up emails from your own domain. It is included in Stem, which also removes Bloomod branding from event emails, and is a $19 a month add-on on Seed.

Can I run recurring office hours?

Yes. Office hours can be set up as a recurring series with a daily, weekly, monthly or custom pattern, so the whole run is one object. Customers added mid-series receive the remaining occurrences.

Do customers stay in one list across sessions?

Yes. Everyone you have ever invited is kept in Contacts, across every Event, so a customer invited to a kick-off can be added to a later check-in without re-collecting their details.

Examples on this page are illustrative. RSVP Reporting is included in Stem and available on Seed for $10/month.
