How credits work
Bigger event? Top up, don’t upgrade.
Every plan has two separate balances. Your monthly allowance is used first, and you can buy more of either one at any time. Stem customers pay lower rates.
Calendar invitation credit
Delivered through your calendar
One credit for each invitation, update or cancellation sent through your connected Google or Microsoft calendar.
Email credit
Delivered by email
One credit for each verification link and reminder, and for each invitation, update or cancellation sent by email through Bloomod or Bloomod SMTP.
Separate balances, no forced bundles. Buying invitation credits never requires email credits, and buying email credits never requires invitation credits.
Calendar invitations
Add invitations without changing plans.
Purchase the exact invitation quantity an event needs, from 100 to 10,000 per self-service purchase.

What is the difference between Seed, Stem and Bloom?
Seed is free and covers the full Verify, Invite, Remind, Connect and Followup workflow with 2,000 calendar invitations and 200 emails each month. Stem is $29/month, or $300/year, and adds more volume, Bloomod SMTP, RSVP Reporting and removes Bloomod branding from event emails. Bloom is a custom plan for organizations that need tailored volume, onboarding and commercial terms.
What is Bloomod SMTP?
Bloomod SMTP lets you send verification, invitation and reminder emails from your own domain. You add a domain, publish the DNS records Bloomod shows you and create Event senders. It includes domain delivery logs. It is a $19/month add-on for Seed with 2,000 emails each month, and it is included in Stem.
Do I need Stem if I exceed my monthly allowance?
No. On Seed you can buy additional calendar invitation credits or email credits whenever an event needs them. Purchased credits are separate from the monthly allowance and remain valid for 12 months.
What counts as a calendar invitation and what counts as an email?
A calendar invitation credit is used for each invitation, update or cancellation delivered through your connected Google or Microsoft calendar. An email credit is used for each verification link, reminder, post-event follow-up, and each invitation, update or cancellation delivered by email through Bloomod. The two balances are separate.
Can I add RSVP Reporting and Bloomod SMTP to Seed?
Yes. RSVP Reporting is $10/month and Bloomod SMTP is $19/month on Seed. Taking both costs the same as Stem, but Stem also raises your allowances, removes Bloomod branding from event emails and allows more calendar connections, so most teams choose Stem.
Do monthly allowances roll over?
No. Monthly calendar invitation and email allowances refresh each billing month and do not roll over. On annual Stem, the allowance is granted month by month. Purchased add-on credits are separate and remain valid for 12 months.
When do purchased credits expire?
Purchased invitation and email credits expire 12 months after purchase. The expiry date is shown with the balance, and Bloomod uses the earliest-expiring purchased balance first.
What happens if I cancel Stem?
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, so you keep Stem until then. Afterwards your workspace returns to Seed. Your Events, attendees, domains, senders and purchased credits are not deleted.
What are the purchase limits for credits?
Each self-service purchase is between 100 and 10,000 calendar invitations, or between 50 and 10,000 email credits. For more, contact us about Bloom.
