Event attendees

Every event has its own attendee list.

Bloomod does not create a global contact database. Attendees belong to the event where they registered or were imported, so each event starts with a clear, separate list.

One event at a time

Collect attendees where the event is promoted.

Add Bloomod’s public form to an event page, or use the event’s own Bloomod landing page. An attendee enters their name and email, submits, and is saved only to that event.

  • Name and email collected for the selected event
  • A verification link is sent to confirm the attendee’s email
  • Unverified attendees stay in the event list
  • No attendee is shared with another event

Ways to add attendees

Choose the event, then choose the source.

Every input creates an attendee record for the selected event, never a reusable global contact.

  • Public form

    Available

Place a simple name-and-email form on an event-specific public page. Bloomod sends the verification link after submission.

    How invitations work
  • Event landing page

    Available

Use a dedicated Bloomod landing page for an event when you do not have a page of your own.

  • CSV import

    Available

Import a large list into one event in the background. Each attendee then confirms their email through a verification link.

  • Direct entry

    Available

Add one attendee directly to the selected event, and send their verification link when you are ready.

Verification and automation

Verified attendees can receive the automated calendar invite.

Verification is event-specific. Every attendee, however they were added, becomes Verified by opening the verification link sent to their email.

When event automation is enabled, Bloomod sends calendar invites only to attendees marked Verified. Unverified attendees remain saved, and you can resend their verification link at any time.

Does Bloomod keep one global contact list?

No, and that is deliberate. Attendees belong to the event where they registered or were imported, so each event starts from a clear, separate list. Everyone you have invited is also kept in Contacts, so a past attendee can be added to a later event without collecting their details again.

How do attendees get onto an event's list?

Four ways, in any combination: the hosted event page, a registration form embedded on your own site, a CSV import, or direct entry by hand. All four feed the same list, and every route runs through the same verification step.

What happens to an attendee who never confirms their email?

They stay saved against the event and stay visible in the attendee list, but they are never included in an automated calendar invitation. You keep the record without sending to an address nobody has confirmed.

How large a CSV can I import?

Large files are accepted and processed in the background rather than blocking the page. What is metered is sending, not list size: Seed includes 2,000 calendar invitations and 200 emails a month, and credits can be topped up without changing plan.
