Terms of service
These Terms govern access to and use of the Bloomod service.
Last updated 9 August 2026 · Version 1.1
1. Acceptance
In these Terms, “Bloomod”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the Bloomod service. By creating an account you agree to these terms on behalf of the business you represent, and you confirm you are authorised to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Bloomod is a platform for sending, updating and tracking calendar invitations, together with event-specific attendee lists. Bloomod does not provide a reusable global contact database in this release.
Scope of this release. Bloomod supports Event calendar invitations and Bloomod-managed Event emails for verification, reminders, updates and cancellations. Marketing campaigns, newsletters, SMS, WhatsApp and RCS are not provided, sold or usable under these terms. Any reference to them describes a possible future roadmap.
3. Accounts
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your account and business details
- You are responsible for the acts of every member you add to your account
- You must keep account credentials and any integration credentials confidential
- Free sending uses a connected provider identity where applicable; Business custom sender domains require ownership verification
- One business per account unless we agree otherwise in writing
4. Credits and plans
- Free is $0 forever and includes 2,000 calendar invitations each month. It includes zero Bloomod-managed email credits
- Business is $35/month and includes 10,000 calendar invitations, 10,000 Bloomod-managed email credits and RSVP Reporting each month
- Included monthly allowances reset each month and do not roll over
- Purchased invitation and email credits are separate balances, remain valid for 12 months and do not unlock Business-only features
- Self-service purchases range from 100 to 10,000 calendar invitations or 50 to 10,000 Bloomod email credits per purchase
- RSVP Reporting is available to Free for $6.99/month and is not a usage credit or per-RSVP charge
- Emails sent through a Business organisation’s own SMTP do not consume Bloomod-managed Email Credits
- Plan, Event, provider and fair-use limits may apply to invitation operations
5. Your sending
You are solely responsible for who you add to an event and what the invitation says. You agree:
- Each attendee is added to the correct event through a lawful public registration, import or direct entry
- You will accurately set imported attendees’ Verified or Unverified status
- You will not use Bloomod automation to invite an attendee marked Unverified
- You will comply with the anti-spam policy and the acceptable use policy, which form part of these terms
Calendar invitations occupy a recipient's time, not only their inbox. Sending them without consent causes more annoyance than an unwanted email, and we enforce accordingly.
6. Approval and control
Calendar-invite automation is configured per event. When enabled, Bloomod sends only to attendees marked Verified; when disabled, it sends no calendar invites for that event. Unverified attendees remain saved but must be invited manually outside Bloomod.
7. Data
You retain all rights in the attendee records you collect or upload. We process them only to provide the service, under the data processing agreement and the privacy notice. You grant us the limited licence needed to transmit invitations to the calendar providers involved.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service available and to deliver approved invitations promptly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Specifically we do not guarantee:
- Inbox placement, or that an invitation will not be filtered
- That a recipient's calendar client will report RSVP state accurately or at all
- Any particular throughput, which depends on plan, provider and verification
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend sending, or an account, where we reasonably believe there is a breach of these policies, a risk to recipients or other senders, unpaid amounts on an agreed allowance, or unlawful use. Where practical we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. You may close your account at any time.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost business opportunity. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts paid by you for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Because the free plan is provided at no charge, our liability in respect of it is limited to correcting the service or terminating it.
11. Changes
We may change these terms. Material changes will be notified to account members by email, and take effect no sooner than the date stated in that notice. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the revised terms.
